Meet Philip DeRouchey

Philip is a masonry contractor dedicated to creating beautiful, custom work that captures the style you desire. Just give him an idea, theme, or drawing and he can turn it into reality. All of his stone artwork is cut by hand. No two pieces of masonry artwork are alike.

His area of expertise is custom stone, brick, and block work for residential and commercial properties. He also specializes in

How It All Began

Philip started his masonry career in 1976 and began making stone artwork because of a customer’s special request that ignited inspiration. He was building a fireplace and the customer asked if he could incorporate a sunrise design made of stone into the facade of the fireplace.

From that point forward, Phil began his stone art career and worked for various prominent masons in California. In 1990 he received his masonry contractor license and started his own business, DeRouchey Masonry.
